So, you’ve just landed your dream job! Congratulations! You are now on your way to becoming an Entertainer at one of our beautiful campsites in Italy!
Dreaming of Italian pizza, Aperols, soaking in the sunshine, and learning the most romantic language? Well it won’t be long now don’t worry!
We want to make sure you have the most incredible summer abroad, and that starts before you even leave! It starts with making sure you’ve got all the essentials for a fun and action-packed season abroad!
As you already know, you are going to be the star of the show this summer! (Or at least one of the stars of the show!) So for our musicals and shows, we might need you to wear a plain black shirt or a plain white shirt to fit in with your character on stage! Plus black shorts are always useful and necessary for shows and rehearsals! 
You’ll be basking in the Italian sea’s and lakes like the true mermaid you are! So make sure to bring at least 1 pair of swimmers, or maybe more if you really love the water! Plus, you might fall in love with Splash Dance and ask your team leader to put you on Splash dance every day!
We all know the Italian sun just hits different. It’s why we all look so gorgeous and tanned for most of the season! But on those free days when you’re relaxing on the beach, make sure you have a hat and sunscreen! We don’t want the kids mixing you up for the red paint!
Italian sun, Italian heat, and all the physical activity from a day of Animation. What more can we say? Oh, and we love the environment at Apply and hope you do too!
From laying on the beach to drying off after a much-needed shower, don’t forget to bring a towel!
In the words of our very own Daan Hellings, “Bring enough socks!”. But his words speak wisdom and truth. Imagine having football in the morning, a swim on your lunch break, then basketball in the afternoon and then happy disco at night! You may have to change your socks a couple times a day!
Happy Disco is no easy feat (or should we say feet!) It’s a solid 45 minutes of jumping and sweating every night! So make sure you’ve got the shoes to sustain this workout/dance routine! Don’t worry, it’s more fun than a regular workout! 😉 (But don’t forget to bring some nice shoes for your free time too!)
Be it a disposable camera, digital camera, or an old-school paper journal! We can assure you that a season with Apply will be full of incredible memories, so make sure to take the time during your season to write them down or capture them in a special way, so you can look back over them during the winter and reminisce about what a good time you had! <3
Chances are there will be opportunities to go out with your team! So don’t forget to bring a nice outfit to dance away the Italian night and really live your Mamma Mia dreams!
Whether it’s a funny costume you have that you only bring out on the rarest occasions, we’d love to see you pop it out in the Mini Club or during one of our family shows! Or maybe it’s your favorite card game that you love playing with your friends! UNO anyone? You can bring a little piece from home to make your new home even more special.
So that’s our list of top 10 things to bring! (Plus of course you can figure out the other essentials you need such as toiletries and so on.) But don’t worry if you forget something; there are shops in Italy! It might be a good time to put that Duolingo streak you’ve been working on into practice!
